The market opened flat and traded in a very narrow range at a higher level but the stock specific rally continued specifically in the pharma sector. However, profit booking was seen in all the other sectors. Sensex lost 30.47 points to 32370.04, Nifty lost 19.90 points to 10121.90.

Dr Reddy by 7.57% to 2490, Cipla by 4.09% to 593, Lupin by 2.72% to 1029.50, Tech Mahindra by 2.52% to 460.20, and Sun Pharma by 2.45% to 517.90.

Top Losers

ZEEL by 2.57% to 535, GAIL by 2.55% to 406.65, ACC by 2.23% to 1746.25, Eicher Motors by 2.08% to 31770 and Indiabulls Housing Finance by 2.04% to 1284.

Analysis of Top Gainer and Loser

Dr.Reddy is the top gainer in today's market as the fresh breakout was seen in the stock at an upper level because some of the broking firms upgraded their target after it got USFDA clearance.

ZEEL is the top loser in today's market due to Profit booking that was seen in the stock as the price is at the resistance level.

Key Market News

The US Federal Reserve left interest rates unchanged as expected but signaled that there is a possibility that the rate will increase by the end of the year despite a recent low inflation and low unemployment.

Pharma Sector has been seeing a great rebounding from the last couple of trading sessions because of some of the companies got clearance from USFDA and some companies have a positive outlook for coming days.

Makers Laboratories is on the upside while Indiabulls Ventures is on the downside.
