Rakesh Jhunjhunwala Buys 2% Stake In NCC

Billionaire Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, along with his wife Rekha Jhunjhunwala, his firm Rare Share & Stocks and Hillcroft Investments has bought additional 2 % stake in Hyderabad-based infrastructure company NCC Ltd.
According to stock exchanges filing Rakesh Jhunjhunwala along with is wife have acquired 6.5 lakh additional shares via open market. 4 crore shares by way of rights issue, which the NCC had recently concluded during raising up to 600 crore.
Before the announcement, the shareholding of Rakesh Jhunjhunwala in the company was 11.84% according to the filing which has now gone up to 12.78%. Over the period, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala has bought shares in the infra company and increasing his holding past the 10% mark.
As of September 2014, the promoters of the company held 20.41% stakes in the company while foreign direct investors held 29.18% and domestic institutional investors (DII) held 11.44 % and 38.97 % is held by others. Furthermore, in another disclosure to the stock exchanges, Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius has informed that it now holds a 5.41% stake in NCC.
