Share Market News – 11 October 2017

The market opened positive but profit booking was seen in the market in an afternoon session and nifty closed below 10000 level but a huge buying was seen in oil and gas sector. Sensex lost 90.42 points to 31833.99, Nifty lost 32.20 points to 9984.80.

Top Gainers

Bharati Airtel by 5.55% to 405.95, HPCL by 3.65% to 452.50, Infratel by 2.71% to 410.70, TCS by 1.66% to 2500 and IOC by 1.62 to 417.50.

Top Losers

Yes Bank by 2.78% to 362.55, SBIN by 2.24% to 251.20, Vedanta Ltd By 2.18% to 314, Tata Motors by 2.16% to 414.45 and Indiabulls Housing Finance by 1.90% to 1257.50.

Analysis of Top Gainer and Loser

Bharati Airtel is the top gainer in today's market as according to reports Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and GIC Singapore are going to acquire Bharti Infratel towers business for USD 11 billion.

Yes Bank is the top loser in today's market as profit booking was seen in stock as the price is at the resistance level.

Key Market News-

There is positive news for a job seeker in the energy sector as government's ambitious project of electrifying villages would create 83 million jobs in the energy sector, especially in solar energy sector, according to report.

According to the finance minister, India is still no.1 in receiving a foreign direct investment into the various sector.

Stocks to Watch

Bharati Airtel is on the upside while TVS Electronics is on the downside.

Bharati Airtel is currently trading at Rs.403.55, up by Rs.18.95 or 4.93% from its previous closing of Rs.384.60 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs.386.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs.406.40 and Rs.386. respectively. So far 7006525(NSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs.161255 Crore. The BSE group stock has touched a 52 week high of Rs.438.15 on 28-August-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs.283.05 on 09-November-2016.

TVS Electronics is currently trading at Rs.446.45, down by Rs.10 or 49.60% from its previous closing of Rs.496.05 on the NSE. The scrip opened at Rs.538 and has touched a high and low of Rs.545.65 and Rs.446.45 respectively. So far 1358729(NSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs.829 Crore. The BSE/NSE group stock has touched a 52 week high of Rs.545.65 On 11-October-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs.82.50 on 23-December-2016.
