Todays market opened negative and ended flat due to profit booking and increasing worries over the conflict between the USA and North Korea. Sensex lost 111.34 points to 29918; Nifty lost 38.10 points to 9304.05.

ONGC by 3.88% to 186.05, Bank of Baroda by 3.45% to 187.65, SBIN by 2.61% to 289.40, Maruti by 2.15% to 6511 And Hindalco by 2.13% to 199.

Top Losers

ITC by 2.80% to 277.80, Infratel by 2.74% to 356.75, HDFC by 1.88% to 1537, Tech Mahindra by 1.81% to 417.25 And Ambuja Cement by 1.80% to 245.

Key Market Drivers

According to IMF Deputy Director, the ambitious Goods and Services Tax (GST) supposed to be implemented from July 1 would help boost India's medium-term growth to above 8%. The International Monetary Fund has added that the reforms being done are expected to pay off in terms of higher growth in the future. The government has made notable progress on important economic reforms that will support strong and sustainable growth in the future.

Market regulator SEBI is likely to finalise regulations for universal exchanges by December. A universal exchange is one which offers securities and commodities trading under the same roof. When approved, stock exchanges will not have to set up a different entity to offer a platform for commodities trading.

Bank of India is on the upside while Motilal Oswal is on the downside.

Bank of India is currently trading at Rs.186.80, up by Rs.8.30 or 4.65% from its previous closing of Rs 178.5 on the NSE. The scrip opened at Rs.174 and has touched a high and low of Rs 189 and Rs 171.65 respectively. So far 18081940(NSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the Company is Rs.18826 Crore. The BSE/NSE group stock has touched a 52 week high of Rs.189 on 27-April-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs.78.60 on 25-May-2016.

Motilal Oswal Financial Services is currently trading at Rs.843.95, down by Rs.22.90 or 2.64% from its previous closing of Rs.866.85 on the NSE The scrip opened at Rs.874 and has touched a high and low of Rs.875 and Rs.826.95 respectively. So far 215412(NSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs.12512 Crore. The BSE/NSE group stock has touched a 52 week high of Rs.890.85 on 26-April-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs.274 on 06-May-2016.
